Greetings Fellow Union County Republicans,
UnionGOP, RNC and Mark Harris Campaign Joint HQ
A number of us have been working very hard to locate a GOP headquarters for the fall election cycle. We are excited to announce that the Union County GOP, the 9th District, the RNC, and the Mark Harris Campaign have opened a joint office through the end of the election season. Maintaining a joint office will enable deeper coordination between the County Party, the RNC, and the Candidates for the November Election. The office is located at 14700 E. Independence Blvd. It is at the corner of Plyler Road and HWY 74. If you are a candidate on the fall ballot we need a couple of your yard signs. One for a decoration and one to place on the Hwy frontage. 40,000 cars per day pass in front of our location. Also, please be on the lookout for the grand opening announcement. We look to hold a formal opening in late July.
We have a number of events coming up that I want to call to your attention so that you can mark them on your calendar.
Salute to Our Troops

We are inviting veterans, active-duty military members and their families to come out and enjoy some great family fun, food and fellowship. To all those who have served, it is our pleasure to serve you!
Union County's own Sarah Verardo with the Independence Fund will be a special guest. Local elected officials will be on hand to serve our veterans and active-duty members great BBQ with all the fixin’s! Dr. Mark Harris, 9th District Republican nominee for Congress, will be on hand to deliver a “Salute to Our Troops” and talk about issues affecting the military community.

July 4th Parades in Waxhaw and Indian Trail.
We will meet in the parade staging route at 9:00am on July 4th in Waxhaw. Please check Twitter and Facebook for our exact location. Once we complete the Waxhaw parade we will go directly to Indian Trail to line up. Volunteers are needed to help decorate and ride / walk the parades. Wear your patriotic gear and come join us. Judge's Picnic

Pat and Barbara Harrison's Home
Once again the Sweet Union Republican Women, the Republican Forum, and the Union County GOP Executive Committee will hold the Judge's Picnic. Pat and Barbara Harrison have been kind enough to open their home once again for this annual event. Please make sure you come as we have very important state wide Judicial Elections with Justice Barbara Jackson running for reelection on the State Supreme Court and Drew Heath, Jefferson Griffin, and Chuck Kitchen on the ballot for the North Carolilna Court of Appeals. As the date nears, check our website and Facebook page for updates.
Again, no Executive Committee Meeting in July. Be on the lookout for the announcement on the Grand Opening celebration for our Election HQ, and check our website and Facebook pages regularly for updates and details.
