This morning, the UnionGOP Leadership Team and I received written notice of Mr. Bob Dunn’s resignation from the position of Chairman of the Union County Republican Party.
UnionGOP extends its sincere gratitude to Mr. Dunn for his service and dedication to the Republican Party. Under his leadership, this past Saturday’s Lincoln Reagan Douglass Dinner became one of the most successful fundraising events in the history of the Union County Republican Party. We are grateful for his tireless work and commitment in bringing that event to fruition.
While we acknowledge Mr. Dunn’s resignation, our organization remains strong and fully committed to moving forward. In accordance with the UnionGOP Plan of Organization, Vice Chairman Mr. Errol Wedra will serve as Interim Chairman until a Special Election is organized and conducted to fill the position.
We are deeply appreciative of the many calls and messages received today from our dedicated volunteers and supporters offering encouragement and pledging their continued involvement. The resolve of Union County Republicans remains unwavering. We understand what is at stake for our country, and together we will continue the work ahead with determination, unity, and purpose. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Erin LeCroy, Secretary, Union County Republican Party, North Carolina
