The Precinct Meeting Thursday Feb. 13 2025

Precinct Meeting 2025 (CLICK ON THIS LINK TO RSVP)

We have many types of volunteer jobs in the Union County GOP. One of the most important is the precinct chair. What does the precinct chair do? At this meeting, precinct chairs are elected from those who attend the meeting. Attending the precinct meeting is also a requirement for being a delegate to any conventions at the county, district or state level. You must be registered Republican by 1/31/25 to be eligible.

In accordance with the Union County Republican Party Plan of Organization, notice is hereby given that the Annual Precinct Meeting shall be held at the following location for all Precincts:

Date:                                           Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025

Time:                                           Registration 6:30-7:00 pm

                                                     7:00 pm Precinct Meeting

Location:                                    Weddington High School

                                                     4901 Weddington Rd

                                                     Matthews(Weddington), NC

You must attend the precinct meeting or send in an absentee form to be a delegate to the County, District and State Conventions. If you or any potential Republican volunteer are unable to attend, you need to submit a Precinct Absentee form, available on our website, union.nc.gop. Please download it or request a copy from [email protected]. The Absentee Form must be submitted to Chairman Powers by 5 pm on Feb. 12. <NOWEXPIRED> You must be registered Republican by Jan. 31 to be part of the precinct organization. We recommend filing in person at the Union County Board of Elections to meet that date if needed. If you have any questions about the process or the Union GOP Organization, please feel free to contact me. Please RSVP to this meeting to speed up sign in.

Sincerely,

Allison Powers
